Sometimes it’s hard to find time to hit the gym, but you can workout at home with some simple tips:
-Keep some hand weights at hand, and give your biceps some attention for a few minutes.
-Stand up and march in place during tv commercial breaks.
-Do leg lifts in bed. Before you get up in the morning, spend a few minutes lying flat on your back, slowing raising and lowering one leg at a time. Try two sets of 10 repetitions per leg to get your blood flowing and start the day with more energy.
-Try abdominal crunches. They are easy to do in bed, and there are many variations to try.
It’s important to work with a doctor or trainer in developing a plan that’s right for you, depending on your starting fitness level and medical conditions.
