The Bride Candy

Floral design and art are not meant for substance. It’s there to stir emotion, tell a story and create something that lasts beyond its physical form. It’s a reminder to be present.

This set up is actually very sentimental to me. When the NPR team came up with the idea to use my story as a part of the timeline in the Miami Wedding Week promo shoot. It inspired me to create an entire library to represent where my artistry comes from, why I love Flowers/ design , with Personal touches that only I know.

It all started when I told them I used to draw wedding dresses in my notebook during high school. I got in trouble numerous times for this, but we all know that it worked out in the end. My parents wedding photo is in the background, a gift from my God Son and another from my big sister. tulips and dahlias are Incorporated in the design not only because they are my favorite, but it’s a love language between my father and I . When the tulips blossom in his garden he sends me pictures and videos. He even went as far as to overnight deliver me flowers from Ct to Mia . The hummingbird painting pays homage to said garden and the hummingbirds that go visit.
