This , we want to talk about Climate Justice.
Families living in informal settlements are among those most affected by the climate crisis, often facing its harshest consequences due to a lack of adequate infrastructure.
In the face of this reality, we refuse to stand by. We believe the most urgent climate action starts within communities. Thatโs why we work together to co-design resilient housing solutions that can adapt to changing conditions and help protect the lives of the families who call them home.
Caring for the environment means, first and foremost, ensuring that no one has to face climate uncertainty while living on a dirt floor. ๐กโ๐ฝ

Four walls and a solid roof. It may seem basic, but for millions of families across Latin America and the Caribbean, it is the starting point for a more just future.
Yesicaโs new home represents leaving behind the vulnerability of dirt floors and makeshift walls. It transforms the health, safety, and opportunities of an entire family. ๐ ๐
Thank you to every neighbor and volunteer who contributed their time, effort, and heart to be part of this change. โค๏ธโ๐ฉน
What happens when young people step out of the classroom and into a completely different reality?
Something bigger than a trip begins.
Together with Columbus High School, through our US Volunteer Program Youth Change Makers, this experience in Costa Rica became more than the construction of a home. It became a space for connection, perspective, and transformation in both directions. ๐ ๐ค
Building the next generation of change-makers. ๐

For those living in informal settlements, climate change isnโt a statistic or a debate, itโs the water leaking through the roof, the cold seeping through the walls, and the mud that covers everything. ๐๐ผ The climate crisis is a crisis of inequality. ๐
Today, on Earth Day, we reiterate our commitment to climate justice. Because there is no healthy planet if we leave the most vulnerable communities behind. ๐
Caring for our planet also means ensuring that no one has to face the force of nature without a decent place to call home. ๐ซฑ๐ฝโ๐ซฒ๐ผ
