This past week, our dedicated volunteers from Washington U St. Louis and Penn State demonstrated exceptional commitment to community service. They cleared over two dozen massive oak trees and completed vital roof repairs in South Carolina, while also engaging in drywall and flooring work in Florida. These experiences not only fostered professional growth but also strengthened relationships with local homeowners. CCI is proud to support initiatives that empower volunteers and enhance community resilience.

Last week, CCI had the privilege of collaborating with university teams in Puerto Rico, engaging in various impactful projects. Our volunteers participated in restoring wildlife habitats through tree planting, assisting NOAA with marine debris monitoring, and even converting an abandoned school into a vibrant community center. These initiatives not only benefit the local community but also provide invaluable professional development opportunities for participants. Engaging in community service helps develop leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills that are essential in today’s workforce. Together, we can foster collaboration and create lasting change.
