For the eighth consecutive year, Freidin Brown, P.A. and SAVE are awarding multiple scholarships totaling $25,000 in financial support for LGBTQ+ and allied student leaders rooted in the South Florida community.

If you’re a changemaker pursuing a career in law, social work, education, public policy, government or any related field — this scholarship is for you!

Applications are open now and close August 31, 2026. Scholarship recipients will be announced by September 15, and funds will be sent directly to each winner’s school.

SAVE was proud to bring our Guardian Society together for a special evening at ICA Miami for Dolce & Gabbana’s From the Heart to the Hands exhibition.

Thank you to our Guardians and guests for joining us for a beautiful night of stunning art and connection.

The Guardian Society helps sustain SAVE’s year-round work to advance LGBTQ+ equality through advocacy, civic engagement, voter education, and organizing across South Florida. That sustained support also strengthens our ability to help elect pro-equality leaders who will fight for our community at every level of government.

That includes SAVE Action PAC endorsed candidates like former Miami-Dade School Board Member Lucia Baez-Geller who is running for State House District 106, and educator Dinah J. Escarment who is running for State House District 108.
