Here are some places I’d recommend visiting:

Gran Cenote: one of Tulum’s most beautiful cenotes, located just a 15-minute drive from our Airbnb. It’s known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, underwater caves, and it’s the perfect spot for swimming and snorkeling.

Cenote Calavera: This one scared me a bit and it’s often called the “Temple of Doom”. It’s a 10 min drive from your stay. Perfect for swimming, cliff jumping, or snorkeling, it’s an adventurous but peaceful spot to explore the natural beauty of Tulum.

La Guarida: this spot was a vibe! At night, it turns into this bar/library/jazzy/deep house music type of spot. If that makes sense. It’s a really cool place with affordable drinks, board games, dart games, random rooms, etc. There’s even a mini dance floor. That’s the best way we can explain it. It’s a must see for yourself.

Arca Restaurant: what dining in the jungle really looked like. By night, the restaurant comes alive with an open-fire kitchen, where chefs use local ingredients with bold and creative flavors. Imagine smoky aromas, flickering candlelight, and a jungle backdrop. It’s truly an experience!

Akuma Tiger: We almost didn’t want to to tell you about this spot because it’s such a hidden gem. The sushi is here impeccable. What I also like about this place is that you don’t have to drive through the hotel zone (iykyk). 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tulum Archeological Zoo: It’s not your typical zoo—it’s more like stepping into Tulum’s wildlife and history. You’ll see animals like jaguars, monkeys, and vibrant tropical birds, all surrounded by greenery. It’s a fun little adventure to your trip. Tulum is just one of those places where there’s never enough hours in a day. There’s so much to do and we love mixing up our trip with different types of activities!
