one of our CA-2 residents rotating in the Miami VA SICU was lucky enough to get a visit today from a former patient. Hunter had the pleasure of providing care to him for a majority of his 2 month hospital stay! This patient and his partner shared a special moment with Hunter and the rest of the incredible SICU staff that was full of hugs, laughs, and dancing!🕺🏻💃🏼

We are glad to hear he has made strides in his recovery and now gets to wear his favorite jammies as he prepares for discharge. This much time in a hospital (especially an ICU) is enough to make anyone go mad, but like Young Thug says “Horses don’t stop, they keep goin’!” 🥳🐎
