I hate that they dragged their rivalry into Season 5.
Like… didn’t we already move past this in Season 3?
Back in the Starcourt chaos, Steve and Jonathan weren’t “the jock” and “the outcast” anymore — they were just two guys trying to protect the same people. Different battles, same goal. And in the end, their actions saved each other, even if it wasn’t directly.
There was already an unspoken respect there. A sense that they understood each other.
So bringing back that tension in Season 5 just felt unnecessary… like undoing growth we already saw.
They should’ve been allies by then. Not forced back into old dynamics for drama.
Such a missed opportunity for a solid, mature friendship. 😔

I just finally finished the Stranger Things finale. 😢
I absolutely LOVE the series, but I’m not sure how I feel about the ending. It hit harder than I expected. Like, I haven’t cried this much in a while. The look in his eyes… it’s so raw and heartbreaking.
The entire journey was so emotional, but that final moment? It felt like a punch to the gut. 😔
Anyone else feel this way or am I just too attached to these characters? 😭

The show honestly lost some of its magic when the Byers stopped being the emotional center of the story.
A single mom, a quiet loner, and a kid who never fit in — they were the real outsiders of Hawkins, and that’s what made the early seasons feel so grounded.
It’s kind of sad that by the end we never even got a proper scene of Joyce, Jonathan, and Will just being a family together again.
The story started with them. It deserved to end with them too. 💛
