I hope all of you had a great weekend. Especially those of you who are mama's! I hope you felt seen, held, and deeply celebrated for all you do and everything you bring to the table for your family - day after day. 💛

Something I’ve learned is life can hand women some really difficult things and yet we prevail...Even when it's messy and would feel easier to throw in the towel.

I've been thinking a lot about the challenges women come to me with.

Overwhelm. Burnout. Grief. Loneliness.
Financial pressure. Anxiety. Disappointment. Relationship Strain.

Situations that took more out of them than they expected.

Years of carrying emotional weight while still trying to be everything for everyone else.

And after much of that,
many women become practical and careful.
In many ways, guarded.

They learn how to hold everything together -
because it often feels as if there's no other choice.

I've been here many times myself.
And the other day when I was in the shower,
a random phrase popped into my head;
“She's in her prime.”

No idea why.
But then I thought,
“what does that phrase really even mean?!”

Per Google, the old version meant:

A “specific window” of time…. Particularly younger years where a woman was more carefree. Her stage of being less burdened, more desired, more energetic, & youthful.

Almost as if a woman's best years exist somewhere behind her.

Before heartbreak, or burnout.
Before motherhood stretched her thin.
Before any grief or responsibilities.
Before life asked so much of her.

I just have to tell you, the more I sat with it,
the more I thought…
“we've gotten that completely wrong.”

I just don’t believe a woman hits her prime
in the years life was the easiest for her.

I think a woman is truly in her prime when she decides
life will NOT harden her into someone she no longer recognizes.

When she allows herself to still want things.

When she stops abandoning herself just because life has been painful.

When she is willing to still soften, still hope, and
to still be fully alive inside her own life.

A woman in her prime is not a woman untouched by hardship.

She is a woman who has lived through hardship
and still decides she is worthy of joy, intimacy,
beauty, support, emotional safety, growth, desire,
and a life that feels deeply hers.

That kind of woman is powerful.

And honestly, I think many women need the reminder.
Your “prime years” are not behind you,
nor are they way ahead in a future that feels far away.

So naturally, I want to coach on this.
In a FREE, 3-week coaching experience.
