The Color Of Music

That middle grade age is such a tender, powerful window. They’re starting to read for themselves, starting to choose the stories that feel like theirs, starting to discover that books can be more than something assigned at school.

I write because I still remember what it felt like when a book finally found me. And I hope, in some small way, to write something that finds them too.
