We are deeply saddened by the passing of Julio Le Parc (1928–2026).

A visionary artist and pioneer of kinetic and optical art, Le Parc redefined the way we experience light, movement, and space. His groundbreaking work leaves an enduring mark on contemporary art and will continue to inspire generations to come.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and the global art community.

Last Saturday, the exhibition “Modern Cuban Painters from Havana to New York Revisited” opened at the Frost Art Museum at FIU. Congratulations to Elizabeth Goizueta and for putting together such a remarkable curatorial project.
