ABOUT THE SERIES / SINCE 09/04/1948 BY TOMÁS MARTÍNEZ

POP CULTURE + SUPERHEROES

ABOUT THE SERIES / TRES CORDILLERAS BY SEBASTIÁN "PICA" RAMÍREZ
Stilt houses are an extraordinary self-construction response to the unique challenges of the Colombian environment, such as flooding on riverbanks, mangroves, or coastal areas. Interestingly, these structures also appear in high mountain areas as a strategy for inhabiting steep terrains, allowing wildlife to follow its natural path while addressing landslides.
Colombia boasts the greatest diversity of hummingbird species in the world, with the long-tailed hummingbirds being particularly astonishing. These birds, inhabiting each of the Colombian mountain ranges, exhibit slight evolutionary differences in response to their environment. Similarly, vernacular architecture varies in typology, materials, and construction techniques due to changes in surroundings.

ABOUT THE SERIES / REFUGIO BY OMAR MENDOZA
Refuge condenses concerns related to the relationship between humanity and nature into a visual poetry of coexistence. Here, nature vehemently strives to reclaim spaces and scenarios that humans have overtaken. In a nearly invasive action, nature emerges with force, overtaking everyday objects like furniture and chairs, reclaiming its vitality. Refuge represents the action species are compelled to take in order to survive amidst the relentless advance of urbanization.

LUCÍA DÄLÉL
In this collection, Color Art Bubble Collection, each piece represents a moment frozen in time, arising from agitation that creates movement and form. Dälél's unique works in this series are characterized by their ephemeral quality and the use of natural colors to encapsulate a living memory of the present. High-speed photography captures these fleeting moments, allowing them to endure beyond memory. By agitating spaces within the body that contain color, she produces vivid chromatic duos with 100% natural means, achieving a profound sense of balance and ecstasy. Her art encourages viewers to consider how the colors they choose reflect their inner selves, embodying the technology of the soul that Dälél presents in her exhibition.
