It was my pleasure to welcome the Secretary of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, .dbpr , Melanie Griffin, to Town Hall to discuss consumer friendly changes that are coming soon and how the Department is stepping up efforts to deal with bad actors in Condominiums.

It was my pleasure to host leaders of the Association of Evangelical Ministers in my office last week. Specifically, I met with Dr. Juan Barek, President of the Association of Evangelical Ministers and Workers, and Rev. Lázaro Pérez, its Vice President, to discuss collaboration between the Association and Town government. We discussed cooperation in support for community projects and strengthening the positive relations between the faith community and the Town. Afterward, they gifted me a Bible and I posed with Dr. Barek in front of a student art piece I now hang in my office, which he gifted me last year after a tour of my old high school—Dade Christian School.

I thank them for their visit and hope to see them again soon!
