Forbidden: How To Play?
Gather everyone together and try to have the guesser (the person holding the phone over their head) guess the main word on the card. But you can’t say any of the forbidden words listed below! Tilt device down when you guess correctly. Tilt up to pass to the next card, or when a forbidden word is said! Sounds simple, but trust us, it gets frustrating! In order to succeed, you’re going to have to use wits, inside jokes, and/or shared family horror stories to portray a message that is absolutely vague, yet totally understandable.

Forbidden is now available on the App Store! This is our special twist on the forehead co-op category. The goal is to guess the main word/phrase shown on the card you hold over your forehead, while your friends use word jiu jitsu to explain the card without saying the forbidden words. Check out our next post for a bit more insight :)

Now that has come to an end, we have a little surprise for you of our own!! Sumo POP will be coming to Apple TV by the end of the month! If you aren’t one for huddling around a device, you can now lay back and play on the big screen! Friends can join in the action by using an iPhone or iPad as a remote control (with the Sumo POP iOS app). Up to 4 players can sumo it out at a time! It’s incredibly fun, and we think you’re going to really enjoy it! And it is... Absolutely Free.

Konichiwa!! We’re having such a great time exploring Japan, that we’ve neglected our Instagram feed! We made it out to the 14th day of the Grand Sumo Tournament in Osaka, and it was amazing!!! Thank you to all the locals who hung out and played Sumo POP with us, we hope you enjoyed the merch!
