The Recreation Advisory Board will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at 1075 E Hiawatha St, Metter, Georgia. A copy of the proposed agenda is posted here.

Opening Day is almost here! ⚾🥎

We are excited to kick off another great season and can’t wait to see all of our players out on the field. Here are the details for the day:

• Ceremony begins at 9:30 AM
• Please arrive by 9:00 AM so players can find their teams and be ready

The ceremony will take place on Field 1, just like in previous years. This year, each team will have an assigned spot on the field.

Parents:
When you arrive, please walk your child onto the field and look for the sign with your child’s team and coach’s name. Once you have found their spot and coach, parents will need to exit the field and watch the ceremony from the outside of the fence.

At the end of the ceremony, each team will be announced and will walk the field one at a time so you can meet your child as they exit.
