PERMANENT MAKEUP VS TRADITIONAL TATTOOS- THEY ARE NOT THE SAME
A common fear for many considering brows, eyeliner, or lip blushing is that PMU is the same as getting a body tattoo. This isn’t the case when performed correctly.
🔹 Body tattoos are implanted deeper into the dermis using ink, which contains heavy metals for permanence.
🔹 Cosmetic tattooing (PMU) uses specialized pigments and should be placed at the dermal–epidermal junction, allowing for a softer fade over time and a far more natural healed appearance.
With the right technique, depth control, and high-quality pigments, PMU is designed for natural enhancement, not bold overpowering results.
