Therapeutic Method
The ridiculous things i do as a massage therapist to help my clients actually feel better
People think massage is all cucumbers on eyes and soft piano music, but if you saw me from the other side of the table, you’d think I was practicing for a wrestling match. From pulling on your ears like I’m trying to tune a radio to stretching out fingers until they look like they belong to a different person, the things I do can look a little... ridiculous. But there is a method to the madness! Whether I’m lunging across the table or finding a weird angle for my elbow, every "strange" move is designed to find that hidden tension you didn't even know was there. If it looks silly but leaves you feeling like you have a brand new body, I’d say it’s a win.
Your "me time" starts right through this door.
"Massage attracts givers that become wounded healers.” ❤️🩹
This hit me hard because it’s so true. In this industry, our nature is to give, but without boundaries, we risk burning out the very light that helps others heal. Longevity in this field isn’t just about technique—it’s about radical self-protection.
To my fellow healers: How are you filling your cup today? 🌿✨

Even hairstylist need massages too 🥹
Massage therapy relaxes muscle tissues, which reduces painful contractions and spasms. Massage can also reduce nerve compression. To understand this, consider when muscles are contracted, they sometimes compress the nerves around them. Touching the skin or applying pressure relaxes muscles, tendons and ligaments.
