Hello there,
I’m so glad you’re here- Welcome!

It’s been a minute since I properly introduced myself. I’m Emily Ruth - a forever student of life, (sometimes teacher). I started as a coach in 2013 and a few years ago went back to school for an MA in Marriage & Family Therapy with an emphasis in Trauma.
I love what I get to do everyday and am beyond lucky to walk alongside such heartful humans while they bravely meet themselves in this work.

Have we connected yet? If not, please tell me about you. I’d love to hear what brings you to this corner of the internet! DM’s and comments open 💙

And in case you were wondering, I blow dried my hair and got a second chance at that photo shoot. 😉
and are both generous souls!🙌🏼

What women are saying:
“Some retreats and workshops are about hearing the 'experts' give advice to teach the 'right' way to handle challenges. This retreat is about listening to your wisest internal voice, getting still and then moving! Learning to trust your inner knowing. This was a huge paradigm shift for me and I'm so grateful to finally know I can trust myself." -R

I read this review and my heart burst. This is exactly what Maggi Leavitt, LMFT, RPT-S] and I want for the women who join us in circle at BE retreat. We are not the “experts” telling you what to do, how to feel or not feel. We guide you back to your wise self, and help you reconnect with the Source of all goodness. How do we do that? We offer healing with a variety of modalities including, sound healing, somatic integration, art journaling, inner child work, intuitive movement, therapeutic workshops and much more.

It’s not too late to join us at BE retreat. Spots are still available and we’d love to have you join our circle.
DM me or Maggi Leavitt, LMFT, RPT-S] for more details~

Changes happening around here, so I’ll start with this: things have felt dark for so many of us. So I decided to lighten my hair! 😁And to some it might seem superficial, but feels good right now. And if that’s you, I encourage you to read on~
For a long time I shamed myself for the “superficial” things that made me smile. Getting my hair or brows done or painting my nails. Dressing up in a fancy dress or wearing longer eyelashes. But I’ve realized over the years that what is most important to me is how I am relating to whatever thing we’re talking about.

•Am I lightening my hair because I think I need to look a certain way to fit in? Or am I lightening it because it’s fun to change it up and play with color? (It has been the former in the past and is now the latter.)

•Do I dress a certain way because I am afraid of being rejected if I don’t? Or is it just what I feel most comfortable in, and reflects my internal/authentic experience?

These kinds of considerations have been small, but meaningful steps on my journey to further self discovery and thought I’d share in case anyone else is holding these kinds of thoughts too.
