*Weekly Science & Math Hands-On Workshops*

Join us for Science & Math: Learning by Doing Hands-On Workshops each Wednesday! We have two 50-minute math and science workshops for kids ages 8 to 14 (younger kids may join with an adult).

Each science and math workshop consists of an introduction to the concept followed by exploratory learning activities. The math workshops use data from previous science workshops to practice a variety of math skills. The scientific method steps of “Hypothesis, Experiment, and Results” are followed for each science activity.

June 7: Conservation of Momentum
June 14: Investigating Friction with Different Materials
June 21: Investigating Magnification
June 28: Making and Investigating Electromagnets

Science Learning By Doing is back for the fall! Join us every Wednesday at Kaleidoscope Dance from 2:30p to 3:15p for kids ages 8-12. This week we are investigating magnetism and exploring if different items are magnetic or not.
