ASU , the Tuesday 1 pm lab class visited the QEC American Airlines engine shop on 4 Nov 25.The shop supervisor Kennith hosted our visit. The students learned about the Airbus 2500 engines as well as the new leap 1 B engines. Our host pointed out all details on the engines From the EEC , igniter plugs, fuel nozzles, gear box, ACGeneratot, air / oil heat exchangers, fire loops and more.After that the students observed air bus aircraft underwing main the hangar.The students enjoyed the visit and see the value of hard work and study, to graduate and later work for a great company like American.Many thanks to our host Kennith for a great visit.

The ASU wed night power plants lab class tonight visited Aircraft Engine Specialist business and learned about their Part 145 repair shop business. They are very metaculous to details when they work on general aviation aircraft engines. Many thank to their employess for hosting my three lab classes in the last two days. Attached are pictures for this wed night class.

The 1pm ASU power plants lab class visited Aircraft Engine Specialist airplane engine overhaul facility today. 7 October 2025. All Han a great learning experience seeing how the professionals over haul engines from start to finish. This was apart 145 repair facility.

The Wednesday night Power plants lab recently visited chandler gilbert community college's radial engine displays to review info from the lecture class. Numbering of cylinders, timing of the engine, oil sump, and operation of the valves.Agood time was had by all.

Additionally the 1 pm tuesday engines lab class visited American AirlinesQEC engine shop at the Phonix airport. Mr. Ken the manager hosted the visit. Many thanks to him for hosting the classes every semester.The class learned much about the new leap engine and the V2500 engines.see phots attached.
