I wasn’t going to post on ARR page, but have been getting questions, so figured I would update everyone instead of responding to all the messages and texts. We did loose our amazing boy unexpectedly.
“We are devastated. Chuck was found in the field a few days ago passed away due to a lightning strike. Chuck thank you for giving us the best experience for our first foal from one of our mares. You were the start of Cactus Crown Performance Horses and will always be remembered as the start of a new adventure. I named Chuck after my amazing grandfather, and apparently grandpa and God needed you in heaven more than I did! I will yearn for all the adventures I didn’t have with you, like our first ride and first barrel race, and so so much more. Rest in peace handsome Chuckles, we will miss you💕”

✨Saturday Student Spotlight✨
My name is John, before moving to Arizona I had never seen western riding or rodeo in person. I got on a horse for the first time in my life one year ago at 37 years old. I found AZ Rodeo Ready and started with basic riding lessons. Since then I’ve been taking lessons in team roping and have been learning a lot, each horse is so special, it’s been an incredible journey so far! A huge thank you to all of the instructors who have been so supportive and awesome. My goals are to get my own horse, continue to learn and compete in team roping.
