Memorial Day is a solemn day of remembrance dedicated to honoring the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation. Originally established as Decoration Day following the Civil War, Memorial Day serves as a powerful reminder that the freedoms, security, and opportunities we enjoy today were secured through courage, service, and selfless sacrifice.

At TESS Global | Tactful Elite Security Solutions, this day holds deep meaning for our organization. As a Florida-based intelligence-led security, executive protection, and protective intelligence firm, we are proud to employ former military personnel who continue serving their communities with professionalism, vigilance, discipline, leadership, and integrity long after their military service has ended.

Memorial Day is also deeply personal for our family. My great-great-grandfather, grandfather, stepfather, two uncles, and aunt all served in the United States military. Their service, sacrifice, and commitment to this country helped shape the values our organization stands on today — accountability, preparedness, situational awareness, teamwork, and protection.

Today, we honor not only the fallen heroes who never made it home, but also the families who stood beside them through every deployment, hardship, and sacrifice made in defense of our country. Their strength, resilience, and unwavering support are part of that legacy of service.

The values that define the military community continue to shape the standards we uphold every day across our intelligence-led security operations, protective intelligence initiatives, event security teams, access control operations, and community partnerships.
