I finally got around to installing my OvertakeAuto carbon fiber / resized D bottom steering wheel upgrade. What a great fit and finish… quality product.. and with the right wheel puller.. went smoothly..

 On Father's Day I decided to take my father (79 Years old) out for a ride in the supercharged Corvette. He hadn't been in the car since I made all the modifications and we certainly tested the 738RWHP....put a huge smile on the old mans face... It was a typical summer day in Florida, hot as hell, so we decided to stop over at a local drive-through. I put the car in park and shut it off to let it cool down a bit. That proved to be the beginning of the end of Father's Day and our Corvette excursion. I had a failed shift cable and a tow truck was now on the way.

I searched for posts to see what videos were out there but nothing good... It's not really a big now that I've done it... but there was but a few and not detailed...Below are a few videos of what it took to replace shifter cable and I also replaced the fuel filter while there. It's about 1 1/2 hour job with a lift.. below are some pictures and videos, along with some tricks to use along the way to make it happen faster (uses a drill for all those torque to cover bolts) enjoy and if it ever happens to you hopefully these videos will help you find your way back to a Corvette day...  — in Merritt Island, Florida.
