Merrill Fire Department

Last Saturday we hosted a certified ATV Safety class sponsored by the Spirit Valley Rider ATV Club at the fire station. It was good to see all these young riders learn the proper and safe ways to operate off road. Hopefully will limit us having to respond to someone's ATV accident.

Today we snuck a picture of Firefighter/Paramedic Scott Gomoll working on radio stuff. Scott is our in house expert on a couple things including radio communications. Actually all of our staff have some sort of “divisional” assignment for the department. These supplemental duties help keep us running with efficiency & effectiveness.

Lots going on around the fire station today. Ladder testing for 63-Truck and all of our ground ladders. We also hosted station tour for Children’s Wisconsin.
