Maxfield Rocky View Farm

So much has been going on at the farm that I’ve been forgetting to post. From lambing season coming to an end to shearing beginning. It has been a wild ride. We ended lambing with 3 registered ewe lambs, 8 unregistered ewes, 4 registered ram lambs, and 7 unregistered ram lambs. I also have 2 meat sheep that I have been working with for county fair and I took them to there first show. Then I also took 2 of my Shetland moms and there lambs to two different events to talk about sheep and what we can use them for. Soon I will have a list of available lambs as well as some yearling rams. Until then enjoy the spam of crazy things happening at the farm!

Sasha ended our lambing season on Friday with twin girls. Sadly one of them isn’t going to well but the other is strong and healthy. Neland is excited about his first lambs.

The lamb count made it to 7 after this morning.

On Wednesday Opal had an adorable set of twins one boy and one girl. They are doing fantastic!

Then this morning I found Mercedes licking off two beautiful ram lambs. I’m not exactly thrilled about the genders but what can one do. Will have better pictures once they are cleaned off and moving.
