!!!!Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting requirements update!!!!

You might have heard about the requirement to register your business Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) to comply with the new federal Corporate Transparency Act.

There has been some ongoing litigation challenging the law which creates some confusion. As of Friday December 26, 2024, there was a "stay" - meaning businesses are not required to report BOI information.

However, we urge you to stay informed as it is possible the challengers will lose the lawsuit which might affect the implementation of these requirements. There will be potential fines for failure to comply with the requirement once it is reinstated.
