Creative Imaginations Early Learning & Child Care

We are making a splash at Creative Imaginations! Water play is not only fun—it's one of the richest learning experiences you can provide for young children. While they cool down and laugh with their friends, they are also strengthening gross motor skills through running, jumping, and balancing! At water tables, they expand their fine motor through scooping and pouring--strengthening hand-eye coordination and bilateral coordination. Summer is full of fun AND learning!

We had a blast celebrating our summer and ice cream theme with Kona Ice! Not only did that have fun eating them in our little luau corner, but also had the best time getting to choose and pour their flavor themselves. We love getting to learn and build relationships through special and unique experiences like this--thank you Kona Ice!

One of our lovely PreK students made an amazing creation at the Blocks & STEM center that revealed a deeper level of learning to the teachers. When asked what her creation was, she explained that she made a house for the ocean animals and stuffed animals. Using smaller blocks and seashells, this student created other parts you would find in a house; toilets, sinks, rooms, pillows, and beds! She then used the clear and colorful blocks along the top to make "windows and decorations"! Learning through play is so powerful and her explanation shows how much children absorb the world around them. Imaginative play allows them to emulate what they see and experience--creating their own little world right here at school!
