This morning Sterling FaceTimes me

Sterling “Mom!!!! Will you please tell Layne PaPa brushes his teeth!”

Me “Is he not wanting to brush his teeth?”

Sterling “No, he keeps saying Cowboys don’t brush their teeth, so he doesn’t have to! I told him yes they do and he said no they don’t and my PaPa doesn’t brush his either!”

Me “Did you tell him he does?”

Sterling “Yes but he just keeps saying that Cowboys don’t and he doesn’t have to!”

Me “Layne your PaPa and Cowboys brush their teeth, Go brush your teeth!”

Layne “No they don’t!”

Me “They most certainly do! Go brush your teeth!”

And he’s off down the hall after some back and forth on the subject to the bathroom to brush his teeth!

Heading to the hospital to see his little brother Stetson, mom and dad….

Layne “Mamaw, why isn’t Sterling going with us?”

Me “Because her voice is hoarse from allergies but we don’t want to take any chances to get Stetson sick.”

Layne “Oh, OK.”

Later at the hospital he walks up to me….

Layne “MaMaw, did a horse neigh in Sterlings mouth and that’s why her voice is hoarse?”

I thought Wyatt Heuertz and I were going to die laughing! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
