As many of you know, I have relocated to South Carolina. Recently, I became aware of an alarming statistic. South Carolina is rated #1 in the country for women killed by men. My mother was one of the first three original outreach workers for Chrysalis (then known as the Battered Woman's Shelter). I believe that all things happen for a reason. I will keep my mother's memory and our mission alive here, at the beach. The need is so great here for an organization like ours. I want to thank each and every one of our "ANGELS" that supported and loved on our families in Connecticut. I will continue to update everyone as things progress.
