The Merced County Fair

The countdown to the Livestock Auction is on! Over the next week, we’re proud to spotlight the hardworking FFA and 4-H exhibitors who make this tradition so meaningful.

Through months of preparation and early mornings, these young leaders gain much more than animal care experience. Livestock projects help build confidence, responsibility, communication skills, time management, financial awareness, and leadership — all while keeping students connected to agriculture and their local community.

These programs create a lasting impact, and we’re proud to recognize the students behind the projects. Follow along as we share their stories through our Livestock Highlights, presented by UC Merced.

The Jr. Livestock Auction is this Saturday, June 13th. Buyer registration starts at 8:30 am and the auction begins at 9:30 am. Presented by American AgCredit, CVC CVT and UC Merced.
