Those are called decalcifications. Basically areas where the enamel lost its minerals over time, sometimes from braces, diet, or just how your teeth developed. They are not quite cavities yet but left alone they can turn into one.

For a long time the only way to treat them was to drill them out and fill them, or go the route of veneers or crowns. Which felt like a lot for something that was really just a cosmetic concern.
Now there is a procedure called Icon resin infiltration. We use a specially formulated acid to pe*****te deep into those white spots and then fill them with a clear resin that blends with your natural tooth color. Limited drilling. No removing healthy tooth structure. Just quietly erasing something that has probably been bothering you for years.

Depending on how deep the decalcification goes it sometimes takes more than one round to get an even match with the surrounding teeth. But the results speak for themselves.
