What better way to launch Summer Academy than with a birthday bash? 🎉 Students and staff helped celebrate Superintendent Stocking’s 50th birthday with a fun-filled 50s dress-up day. It was the perfect way to welcome a new decade and kick off a summer full of learning and tons of fun. Happy 50th Birthday, Superintendent Stocking! 🥳💕🎂

This year, Mrs. Fuentes' 5th grade students at Gracey Elementary had the unique opportunity to welcome Superintendent Stocking into their classroom as a "Teacher for the Day." After several visits throughout the school year, she concluded the experience with a day full of engaging, hands-on learning and memorable activities.

Students explored science by creating erupting volcanoes and building solar ovens for delicious s'mores, put their problem-solving skills to work through LEGO engineering challenges, practiced fluency, and participated in many other engaging learning activities.

What a wonderful experience for our students to learn, create, and grow with a district leader who invested her time in our classroom. Thank you, Superintendent Stocking, for investing in our students and making learning engaging, meaningful, and unforgettable. It was truly a wonderful experience for everyone involved! 💙📚
