Looking more like solar flares the tallest dunes in North America are lashed by intense winds at Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado. Photographing in these conditions is harsh on photo equipment and also on my own personal equipment like my eyes, nose and throat. Still, it is so much fun to be out communing with the greatest teacher of all - nature.
