N&S Tractor is seeking a Service Writer at our Merced location. We are seeking professional customer service experience and excellent communication skills. We are looking for self-motivated team players with a positive attitude! We seek individuals who value customer satisfaction.
Service Writer
•Enter all time cards in the DIS system daily. A labor analysis report will be printed and checked for correct billing and kept in a file.
•Type stories on all work orders. Total and check all labor entries on the hard copy then match to what is billed in DIS.
•Responsible for billing all hauls except for rentals. Includes billing permit fees.
•Collect and send pictures for all warranty claims to the warranty department prior to sending the work order.
•Preparing all warranty work orders. Ez file the hard copy, and emailing the warranty department each work order within 10 days of the last labor date.
•Make sure that all warranty work orders have the travel time and service calls billed and are separated from the rest of the charges.
•Follow all company and safety policies as stated in the employee handbook.
•Assist the service manager with any other necessary tasks.

The job responsibilities include but are not limited to greeting customers, answering phones, sourcing parts and in general, taking care of the customers’ needs, and all other duties as needed and assigned. Hours of operation are 7-5 Monday thru Friday and 7-12 on Saturdays.
