Artful Update: When I first envisioned Overgrown Gardens, it was a quiet celebration of growth. Intimate beauty, editorial nails, a shared creative space. That intention still lives here. But as I’ve moved through the process of building this drop, the world around me has been shifting too. And I’ve been feeling the weight of it, watching people from my own community be detained, displaced, and dismissed.

So this drop is shifting slightly. Not for optics. But because I hold myself to a standard:
If I have a voice, I will use it.

This is the nature of art. It moves. It responds. It becomes what it needs to be. And right now, it needs to say something.

The core of these art drops has always been community, ritual, and presence.
And when we’re told that we can’t have those things,
that we can’t have softness, celebration, safety,
we work harder to create them. We protect them.

This drop is still beauty.
Still floral and textured and tender.
But it’s also rooted in resistance, in making space where we are told there is none.
In blooming even when the world is trying to cut us back.
