In the wake of Thursday morning’s heartbreaking triple homicide in Modesto, community members are coming together to support the victims' loved ones through GoFundMe.
The fundraiser was created following the tragic deaths of three family members who were killed during a violent incident that shocked the community.
The victims have been identified as 23-year-old Fabiola Gonzalez, 54-year-old Silvia Nuñez, and infant Mateo.
Friends, neighbors, and strangers alike have begun donating and sharing the campaign across social media as the family faces overwhelming grief and unexpected expenses.
The tragedy has sparked an outpouring of condolences throughout the Central Valley, with many expressing their heartbreak and offering prayers for the victims and their family.

UPDATE:
Jonathan Mishael Bays is now in custody after being located Wednesday morning during a coordinated law enforcement operation in Mariposa.
According to authorities, deputies and assisting officers saturated known homeless encampments throughout the area in an effort to locate Bays. The operation ultimately led to his arrest without incident.
No additional details have been released at this time.
