Please cast your vote for Inside The Box Design for Kitchen and Bath (Design and Remodel). Many others in my category are more contractor based flippers. What that means is that they will bring in other subs they know to get labor done as needed, but they rely on the homeowners to know what they want, and really aren't able to assist with planning, selections, drafting/drawings. My approach is to focus on family lifestyle (kids, aging in place, traffic flow of adjacent spaces) , improving storage, , reason for doing the project (resale, health-safety, aesthetics), budget of overall ( entry level makeover to full scale remodel or addition) . I jokingly tell my clients , don't let your contractor design your kitchen/bathroom and don't let your designer hang your front door! 😀
