Glad to see the first set of our LS lightweight rods making a strong impression at Patriot Performance Engines with Brendon Greaves.

If you missed our announcements and media coverage from PRI last year — yes, we’ve officially developed a lightweight version of our rods specifically for high-horsepower NA combinations and mild-boost applications. These LS rods come in at approximately 605 grams while still carrying a 1,000hp rating.

More of our "V2" design connecting rods getting final machine and inspection today in the shop. If you are building a 2,000hp LS, Gen III Hemi, Big Block Chevy, and Ford Godzilla, and are avoiding aluminum rods, then these are the rods you need. ARP 2000 rod bolts come standard with ARP L19 upgrades available for those of you who are pushing above 2,000hp and beyond.
