Dynamic was honored to host a group of 16 students and two instructors from St. Augustine Preparatory Academy – Milwaukee South Campus.

St. Augustine’s Engineering Instructor, Scott Jex, attended the recent Dynamic Open House event, BEHIND THE BUILD - A Tour of the Tool & Die Industry. He approached us afterward and expressed interest in raising his students’ awareness of careers in manufacturing. Our support of Scott’s efforts won’t end with a tour – we are planning further engagements and activities to emphasize the many opportunities in manufacturing.

MoldMaking Technology officially introduces three of its new Editorial Advisory Board members, bringing deep expertise in mold design, quality systems, medical tooling, workforce development and community engagement across the industry.

Zachary Clark, design engineer and project manager at Electroform Company Inc., guides plastic injection mold projects from concept through completion. With experience in high-quality, complex injection molds including multi-cavity, hot-runner, stack and multi-shot tooling, he focuses on tight-tolerance machining and consistent build quality. Active in AMBA and workforce development, Clark engages local schools to introduce students to machining, engineering and hands-on moldmaking, earning him the Tooling Trail Blazer of the Year award. His expertise includes training, community engagement, design and management.

Lauren Fischer, Quality Management System Manager at Dynamic Tool Corporation, oversees ISO 9001 compliance, continuous process improvement and sustainability initiatives. Transitioning to Plastics Project Manager, she will enhance processes in mold sampling and metrology. With a background in supply chain management and sustainable business, Fischer specializes in quality systems, shop-floor processes, workflow optimization and workforce development.

Dave Gwaltney, Tool and Die Manager at Applied Medical Technology, Inc., designs thermoplastic and liquid silicone rubber molds, manages builds and oversees vendor relationships in a regulated medical OEM environment. With decades of experience in CNC machining, programming, mold design and leadership across industries, his expertise includes state-of-the-art toolrooms, five-axis programming, LSR tooling, design for manufacturing and apprenticeship development.
