This week's images are from the Sharron and Oren Steinfeldt Collection at University of Minnesota Twin Cities' Nathan and Theresa Berman Upper Midwest Jewish Archives.

The photos are from an event around 1969/1970, but that's about all we know 🤷‍♀️. We definitely recognize the Minnesota JCC's Capp Center in the background, and a magnifying glass 🔎 revealed some of the nametags read "St. Paul Welcomes..."

🌳 Shabbat in the Park Update 🚨

Due to the extreme heat and poor air quality, we've made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow night's Shabbat in the Park in Woodbury.

The health and safety of our community is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding.

We're hopeful we'll be able to reschedule this special evening, so stay tuned for updates!

In conjunction with TC Jewfolk and PJ Library, the St. Paul Jewish Federation is proud to bring Shabbat in the Park to Woodbury and Rochester for the first time, while continuing the tradition in St. Paul.

These family-friendly events take place on Friday evenings from 5:30–7:00 p.m.

Bring dinner and a blanket and we'll provide challah and juice for the blessings.
