I like big burls and I cannot lie!

Ever wonder what these things are? A tree burl is a bulbous, woody growth often found on a tree. They are commonly seen in the form of a rounded outgrowth that is filled with small knots from dormant buds. Burls are often a result of some form of stress such as an injury or infection. However, as long as bark covers the outside of the burl, the tree tissue is protected. Burls rarely cause harm to the tree.

Wreath season is upon us! Stone Meadow Hand Grown Produce will be selling handmade, sustainable holiday wreathes at 3 events this season.
--November 30th we will be and Sons Brewhouse Sip-n-Shop in at 8 Grove Street in Upton MA, from noon to 4pm.
--December First we will be at Don't Bee Shy's Farm Day from 11am to 3pm at 165 Pond St. in Uxbridge, MA.
--December 7th we will be at Friends of Historic Hopedale's Holiday Stroll and Shop (at the Draper Gymnasium on Dutcher St.) from noon to 7pm.
