In the wake of this senseless tragedy, the Sou’wester will be taking this week to post tributes to Drew. Text: In honor of Drew Rainer, the Sou’wester will be opening our pages to the community. We will have a section on our website dedicated to sharing stories and tributes about Drew that we will then share with his family.

If you would like to submit something to honor your relationship with him, please submit it via email. You may also submit pictures, quotes, stories, anything that you feel honors Drew.

I urge everyone to take this time to tell stories and share memories. Hopefully this will allow our community to grieve together. Know that you are not alone in grief, anger, confusion, or sadness.

This forum will be open to all members of the Rhodes and Memphis community, as Drew touched the lives of more than his peers at Rhodes.
