Daredevil Raccoon Climbs Minnesota Skyscraper and Becomes a Sensation The stranded raccoon’s mesmerizing hourslong ascent up 25 stories in St. Paul ended early Wednesday with a rescue and some cat food.

We're excited to announce that our project Divided by the Sea, which explores the Mediterranean refugee crisis through the lens of one town in Southern Italy, won GOLD in the Large Group Multimedia category at this year's College Photographer of the Year awards!

Our hope with the project was to help humanize migrants entering Europe, as well as the residents receiving them, exploring questions and systems of global mobility in the process.

Thank you to each individual who shared their personal experiences with migration, all of our partners and friends on the ground in Italy who made this project possible, UNC Center for Global Initiatives, Tripp Tuttle, Steven King and to Andy Roberson and Clinton King who designed and developed the website.
