Social Justice People Series (SJPS) is back for the month of May!
This month, we’re honored to welcome Dr. Umieca Hankton to the mic for a timely and healing-centered conversation:
🎙️ Healing Roots: Rest, Repair, and Reclaiming Our Power
Dr. Hankton is a licensed clinical psychologist, speaker, and founder of UNH Counseling Services, where she works to make mental health care more accessible, culturally responsive, and rooted in restoration. Known as a “Thriving Strategist,” her work helps women move from surviving to thriving with clarity, healing, and intention.
Through the lens of mental health, reproductive justice, and collective restoration, this conversation invites us to slow down, heal deeply, and reclaim our power.
🗓️ Friday, May 29 | 7:30 PM CST
