Before you play the game, you have to learn it.

If you're new or just exploring the Farmer Innovation Network (FIN), this welcome session is your entry point.

We’ll walk through how FIN works, what farmer-centered open innovation actually means in practice, and how farmers shape the direction, not just participate in it. This is a place to connect and get oriented, ask questions, and understand where and how to engage more deeply.

Whether you're considering joining or just getting started, this session will help you begin to learn the rules of the game and where you fit within it.

We’re very excited to announce our continued partnership in North Dakota thanks to the North Dakota-based NSF AgTech Engine and continued funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF).

Working together, the Engine and AgLaunch will continue to expand the reach of AgLaunch’s existing nationwide farmer network, putting farmers at the center of innovation and creating ownership opportunities in the process.

Now in its third year of operation, the Engine will build upon its existing efforts with an additional $45 million to invest in and support growers, producers, and entrepreneurs over the next three years. More information and full press release on our website!

We're incredibly proud of this vital work focusing on the mid-Mississippi Delta region, which we couldn't do without the forward thinking and resilient farmers who are working alongside us. While battling challenges such as extreme weather and fertilizer shortages, they're also innovating and collaborating in ways that modern agriculture has never seen—sharing data, coordinating field trials, and investing in agricultural technology startups.

We know that by replacing just a portion of the low-margin commodity crops that dominate the acreage in the Delta with high-value specialty crops, we can help revitalize local communities, open job-creating processing opportunities, bring billions of additional farm revenue into the region, all while producing the much needed nutrient-dense foods—fruits, legumes, nuts and specialty rice—that our nation needs.
