TORNADO THREAT OVER FOR METRO ATLANTA!

🚨 AFTERNOON UPDATE 🚨Latest data has come in with even greater instability across Georgia tonight.

🌪️ STRONG, LONG-TRACK TORNADOES are becoming increasingly possible this evening and overnight.

The Storm Prediction Center has now INCREASED the tornado risk across Metro Atlanta. Areas highlighted in the hatched brown zone now have a 5% chance of seeing an EF-2 or stronger tornado.

⚠️ In simple terms: We aren't expecting numerous tornadoes, but any tornadoes that develop tonight could become stronger, stay on the ground longer, and track across multiple communities.

This is a more concerning setup than earlier forecasts suggested.

Please have multiple ways to receive warnings before you go to sleep tonight.
