.This photo was taken at The Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, Louisiana, a historic home built in 1796 and widely promoted as one of America’s most haunted homes. The site even offers evening mystery tours focused on its folklore and ghost stories.

Because of the plantation’s long history and haunted reputation, anything unusual in a photo taken there can feel especially eerie. It could be a shadow, reflection, old-house lighting, or something in the background creating a human-like shape — but in a place known for ghost stories, it naturally makes people wonder.
