The Original Safety 1989 corkscrew restoration is almost complete! There was a large learning curve from blasting off the flaking plating, recorking the grip, to remaking broken springs. The end result is stunning. Now to figure out more information on the mechanism to get that back fully functioning. I have a lot of respect for turn of the century cast pieces now.
