Longtime student, Shyrl "Tandy" Johnson won two Indie Original Awards for 2019 in the category of Jazz: Best Overall Song for "Shelter from the Rain" and Best Vocal Performance for "Walk out the Door". These are her own original compositions, and you can hear them on her CD entitled "The Language of Love". Look her up. You'll love her velvety voice.
