Please turn off your sprinklers!

We will start cutting again as soon as the turf dries out enough to do so without damage. Please make sure to put your storm debris in a pile, as it will slow us down tremendously.

Also, please turn off your sprinklers. The sides and backs of the properties, especially in the Meadows, Preserves, Willows and Landings retain a lot of water and make it impossible to cut. If your property has standing water or is saturated, we will skip it and continue with our route. It will get cut on the next pass. Please help us by allowing your turf to adequately drain.

Please bear with us. We have been battling inclement weather for over a week and moving as quickly as we can. We will no longer cut in the rain, and we will not cut saturated turf as it is harmful to the lawns and our mowers. We are moving diligently, sometimes w**deating entire yards in an effort to not damage wet turf. The upcoming week is looking rather wet as well.

Clients of Batter up,

A few clients have reached out to us regarding the schedule. We have had three rain days this week alone. Please understand that rainy days cause delays in the schedule. Our team does not cut lawns that are saturated, as doing so will damage the turf and create mud streaks in the lawns. I will not allow my team to cut saturated grass.

In addition, as most of you are aware, most of the homes in Sawgrass have pooling of water between the houses - so much so that some entire backyards have to be cut with a w**d eater. Unfortunately, the drainage in Sawgrass is inadequate.

We are working hard to stay on schedule, and have worked some Saturdays in an effort to catch up, however we will never jeopardize the safety of our crew by permitting them to work in inclement weather. June 1st will start the 3 to 4 a month barring rain days. Thank you for your understanding.
